Born in Southern California and raised in Lakewood, Colorado, Anissa is a first-generation Latinx and Native student who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology/Criminal Justice. Wanting to stay close to home but still retain her independence, Anissa fell in love with CSU and its campus after she attended a Choose CSU event and quickly found her community here.
