CSU replacing electronic identity system

Student typing on laptop at table

Colorado State University System is updating its electronic identity system for applicants, students, faculty, and staff.

NetIDs are replacing eIDs for the Fort Collins campus and eAccounts for the CSU-Pueblo campus in July 2022. NetIDs are required to log into CSU’s email system and many other systems at CSU, such as RamWeb.

Your NetID is a C, followed by your 9-digit CSU ID. For example: C899456789

If you had an active eID before the changeover happens at the end of July, it will automatically become an active NetID and should be able to log in as normal, once the system is up and running.

EIDs will continue to work until the switch is complete.
