Must-follow social media accounts for future Rams

Maybe you’ve been getting emails from us, maybe you’ve browsed through our virtual campus tour, maybe your parents won’t stop talking about what Colorado State was like back in their day. Maybe you’ve even chatted with a current student. If you’re still looking for ways to really get to know what the culture and student experience is like at CSU, or if there are certain organizations or groups on campus that you want to know more about, some of these social media accounts might be perfect for perusing.

#1. CAM the Ram

You know his face, you can’t help but smile when you see him, and you can’t wait for a chance to pet him on campus one day. To keep up with one of the most beloved members of the CSU community, be sure to give CAM the Ram a follow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

#2. Housing and Dining

Not only does CSU Halls host a YouTube playlist of residence hall tours and share tons of mouth-watering food photos from dining centers, they also share information about important dates, unique events like Pet Night and Environmental Eats, and opportunities for involvement. You can find them on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

#3. Key Communities

Wondering how you’ll get plugged in to campus when you get here? Key Communities are learning communities that you share a residence hall floor with, take your first 2-3 semesters of classes with, experience leadership development and career opportunities with, and lots more. They share about events and opportunities to engage on Facebook, and they just started a new Instagram account.

#4. Associated Students of CSU

ASCSU is our student government body that represents and advocates for all students on university, local and national levels. To get a look into what our student body values and how ASCSU Rams are working hard to serve the student body, follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

#5. Diversity Offices

Okay, so this isn’t really just one account. There are seven diversity offices at CSU that foster community and provide opportunities for engagement and involvement among several diverse identities of students, and they’re all open to students from any background. Here’s where you can find them on social media:

#6. Campus Recreation

Whether it’s recipe videos, class hype videos and facility tours on YouTube, trainer takeovers on Instagram, daily workouts on Twitter, or information about trips and job opportunities on Facebook, Campus Recreation’s social media channels are chock full of great content.

#7. The Rocky Mountain Collegian

For stand-out campus journalism straight from CSU students themselves, find the Collegian on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You’ll find updates about new content across all sections including News, Sports, Opinion, and Arts and Culture.

#9. SLiCE

The Student Leadership, Involvement and Community Engagement office, or SLiCE for short, brings together tons of service, engagement and involvement opportunities for Rams. You can find them posting about various projects, events and opportunities like Rams Against Hunger and C.A.N.S. Around the Oval on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
